However, we did not quite reach the target with the recruitment, and therefore we now give the opportunity on to even more people.

We are looking for two social pedagogues for permanent positions in respectively 32 hours per week and one social pedagogue for a maternity replacement – at 32 hours per week .

We offer respite care to home-living youths and adults between 15 and 55 years with significant and permanent reduced physical and mental function. When the citizens are with us, we create a safe and meaningful stay based on the individual's resources, wishes and needs – while at the same time giving the relatives an important breathing space.

We work in smaller teams where professional reflection, humor and helpfulness are a natural part of everyday life.

A typical day with us

You welcome citizens who come for respite care and help create a daily life characterized by security, structure and good experiences.

Perhaps you plan an activity together. Perhaps you cook dinner, take a trip into the local area or support a citizen in a situation that requires extra calm and presence.

You collaborate closely with relatives and relevant partners, document the pedagogical efforts and brainstorm with your colleagues about how we best support the individual citizen's well-being, development and quality of life.

We work recovery-oriented with KRAP and Neuropedagogy as our common professional foundation.

We base our work on the citizens' resources, hopes and wishes and continuously develop our practice through reflection, supervision and knowledge sharing.

The respite care facility Ryttermarksvej is part of the Center for Housing Support and Respite Care in Kolding Municipality.

The center consists of eight offerings for citizens with different support needs. Across the offerings we work with a common professional foundation in KRAP and Neuropedagogy and prioritize development, interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Practical information

The positions are 32 hours per week.

Working hours are rotating day and evening shifts with every other weekend.

We have awake night shifts, but there may in special periods be a need for a standby shift.

Based on the core task we currently perform, you have Christmas Eve and the Christmas holidays and Easter days off. New Year's Eve is worked according to a rotation every 4 years.
