Hammerum Efterskole is seeking a teacher as soon as possible

Do you want to teach mathematics and/or German and be part of a boarding school life where academic rigor, relationships and community go hand in hand?

We are seeking a committed and relationship‑oriented teacher for a maternity leave cover of approximately 80% until 31 July 2027 with start as soon as possible. You are welcome to apply if you can teach both subjects, or if you wish to work as an hourly teacher in one of the subjects.

Hammerum Efterskole is a general efterskole with 130 students and a Grundtvigian school philosophy. We are looking for a teacher who

• can teach mathematics and/or German and lead students to exams at FP9- and FP10-level
• is passionate about young people and their academic and personal development
• can build strong relationships and contribute to a safe and inclusive community
• thrives in a daily life where teaching and social interaction go hand in hand.

As part of the maternity cover you will also participate in the contact teaching role and take part in supervision, events, trips and the school's other communities. There is also the possibility to teach elective subjects based on your interests and competencies. If you are applying as an hourly teacher, we will agree on tasks and scope further.
