Disability support worker for an ALS-stricken man aged 50, with respiratory monitoring.

The tasks include

• Transfers.
• Monitoring when using NIV and CPAP mask.
• Ensure handover of information at shift change.
• Assistance with personal care.
• Practical household tasks may occur.

Your profile and qualifications

We would like you to have a background in care and nursing, either as a SOSU or 2-3 years as a disability support worker. It is also an advantage if you are familiar with using NIV machines and reporting in HereTask social.

Additionally you will succeed in the job if

• You are engaged, solution-oriented and able to perform the tasks assigned to you.
• You can be ready to lend a helping hand during busy and holiday periods. (e.g. illness of full-time employees and during hospitalizations/tests)
• A Category B driving license is an advantage

Your team

You will join a team with two other full-time employees and one fixed temp.

You as a helper at BPA Support are guaranteed an exciting and diverse everyday life. Your tasks can range from companionship, practical help and personal care. These tasks are planned by the individual supervisor. The pay as a helper depends on which supervisor you perform the work for.

We follow and pay according to the individual municipality's financial assessment and regulations. All information about pay will obviously be available via your helper profile. All helpers receive vacation pay of 12.5% of salary, which is deposited into Feriekonto.
