I have muscular dystrophy and therefore need help with all personal care and practical tasks, such as cooking, light cleaning, laundry, etc., as well as companionship in my daily life. I also sometimes need help at night (but the helper can rest/sleep there as well).

I am a man, in mid-life with a positive attitude. I live alone in my own home, am educated as an economist and am interested in what happens in my surroundings, watch films, listen to many kinds of music and enjoy going out when time allows.

I can offer a position that as a starting point is 4-5 overnight shifts per month (minimum 24 hours per week) as part of the fixed duty roster, just as there may be opportunities for additional shifts. The team covers itself in case of illness and vacation, and it is therefore important that you are flexible and prepared to step in from time to time in the event of illness, etc. (possibly with short notice).

The shifts run as a rule from 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. the next morning, and there will be shifts on weekdays as well as weekends and holidays. The duty roster is laid out 2-3 months at a time; and there are good opportunities for influence on the scheduling, through mutual flexibility between the helpers.

The pay follows the current tariff sheet for disability helpers and constitutes a base wage of currently 164.00 DKK per hour, just as there are supplements for evening, night and weekend/holiday work. In total including supplements about 215 DKK per hour on average. Pension is added.

Start preferably as soon as possible (after agreement).

The workplace (which is also my home) is located in 3500 Verløse, close to public transport (S-train). There is a separate helper room, necessary aids available, modern facilities in the home and generally good conditions.

The only formal qualifications you need to meet are that you must have a driving license and be a non-smoker. Experience with personal care would be nice, but is not decisive, as the necessary training will take place.

• be prepared that personal care is a significant part of the job
• be prepared to handle practical tasks as well as various household chores, including shopping and cooking as well as light cleaning
• be thorough and at the same time efficient in carrying out the work tasks
• be responsible, stable and flexible as an employee
• be interested in a longer-term commitment.
