A BIT ABOUT ME AND THE JOB DESCRIPTION

I am a cheerful, humorous and positive woman of 62 who sits in an electric wheelchair, has a stoma and a supra-pubic catheter. I place great importance on getting healthy and nourishing food. I have a team consisting of 5 helpers and 1 substitute (all women).

I have a position (4 – 5 shifts per month) available and you must be able to start as soon as possible. We have a staff meeting at the end of October, where we lay out the duty roster for the next six months. You must also be able to assist with relief during holidays and illness.

I am looking for an assistant who can help me with companionship, personal care, cooking, shopping, laundry and cleaning. It is important that you understand healthy and nutritious food. As my helper it is important that you are a balanced, caring person with empathy and a positive outlook on life – far from stressed, as that would affect my ability in a negative way. You must be structured, responsible, self-driven, have an overview and team spirit, and you must thrive with freedom under responsibility. I would like you to want to stay in the job for a long period.

As a disability helper you will be part of a good, flexible and necessary team of disability helpers who collectively cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen's own home, for leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen would like to participate in.

KQUALIFICATIONS

• Driver's license B (manual gear) for driving a large disability vehicle
• Flexible
• Non-smoker
• Independent
• Healthcare or nursing experience
• Have respect and understanding for working in a private home

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Start date: As soon as possible
• Part-time: 24 hours per week
