Do you have experience with large diesel engines? We are looking for a skilled ship fitter!

As a marine mechanic, you work with the assembly, installation and servicing of larger diesel engines and related systems. The tasks take place both in the workshop and aboard ships, where precision and technical understanding are essential.

Duties

• Assembly and installation of marine engines
• Construction and adjustment of engine installations
• Work with pipes, flanges and connections
• Alignment and adjustment of the engine and drivetrain
• Service and maintenance of engine systems
• Work according to technical drawings and manuals

Professional qualifications

• Experience with large engines (marine, industrial or similar)
• Background as a marine mechanic
• Knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience with heavy assembly is an advantage

• Practical, strong and technically oriented
• Works in a structured and safe manner
• Can work independently and in a team
• Reliable and responsible
• Thrives with physical work and large components
