KITCHEN CHEF WANTED - take the lead in the kitchen with passion and quality.

Hotel Vinhuset is seeking a kitchen chef who is passionate about serving our guests at a high level.

Hotel Vinhuset is a functional hotel exuding atmosphere in its historic surroundings. Hotel Vinhuset has been the town's hotel since 1778.

Parts of the fantastic building date back to the 16th century. The hotel has 56 rooms, 2 restaurants 'Restaurant Bytinget' and 'Restaurant Vinhuskælderen'.

We are Green Key certified and hold the ecological bronze label.

Hotel Vinhuset is part of Danske Hoteller, which today consists of 27 unique hotels or inns in Denmark.

Profile

· You have a good mood and are quick to smile

· You are passionate about your craft and the food is made from scratch

· You are a cook with a strong interest in sustainability and ecology

· You are okay with working either Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve as well as weekends and holidays

· You are a good team player, as we help each other across departments

· We would like you to have experience from a similar position

You and your tasks

· Daily leadership of the kitchen and staff

· Planning of menus and events in collaboration with management

· Responsibility for self-monitoring, hygiene and food safety

· Purchasing, budget control and optimization of raw material use

· Development of new dishes and concepts with a focus on seasonality and sustainability

· Ensure a good working environment and a motivating kitchen culture

We are looking for you who

· Have experience as a head chef or sous-chef

· Have professional pride, leadership skills and an overview - even in busy periods

· Are creative and quality-conscious with a flair for taste and presentation

· Have control of self-monitoring and financial understanding
