Head of Activity and Employment at Bryggergården

Then you might be the occupational therapist with a leadership focus and strategic responsibility that we are seeking for the Care Center Bryggergården.

About the position

As the head of Activity and Employment, you will play a central role, combining high professional standards with leadership responsibility and strategic development. You will be visible in the day-to-day work as an occupational therapist and will be responsible for both individual and group activities, targeted at our often younger residents. At the same time, you will play a key role in leading the activity team and, together with the director and the management team, set the direction for the overall effort at Bryggergården.

Your main tasks

• ensure a visible, rehabilitative and client-centered approach as an occupational therapist
• handle assessments, training and meaningful activities for residents – including the food club, chair gymnastics and individual offers
• lead and inspire the activity team, including the activity coordinator and activity staff
• responsible for operations management: holiday planning, recruitment, personnel matters and performance reviews
• set clear direction and frameworks for the team’s work and ensure follow-up on initiatives
• ensure coherence between activity, care and kitchen and collaborate across disciplines and civil society

• contribute to a safe, inspiring and wellbeing-promoting work environment
• participate in projects, meetings and development work and ensure training and skill development of employees

We are looking for someone who

• is a licensed/authorized occupational therapist
• has experience with – or ambitions for – leadership
• thinks rehabilitative and is passionate about creating development and quality of life for younger residents
• is visionary, proactive and clear in communication
• thrives with both operational and development tasks and can plan and prioritize in a busy daily life
• is relationship-building and has strong collaboration skills

Employment terms

This is a permanent full-time position with start date December 1, 2026. Salary and employment terms are determined according to qualifications and the applicable collective agreement between the municipality and the relevant professional organization. We will obtain references and a criminal record for applicants who are considered for employment.
