About us

Ristolahaven is one of Marjatta's four adult centres and consists of six residential facilities located in a scenic area at Bækkeskovstræde in Tappernøje, close to forest and fjord. Skovhuset is a §85 residential facility with seven residents aged 27-48.

We work from Rudolf Steiner's anthropology and Marjatta's values, aims and operating framework. In daily practice we place emphasis on community, development, respect and meaningful relationships, and we meet both residents and colleagues with curiosity, engagement and professionalism.

About the position

As head of department you will be responsible for creating the best possible framework for the residents' well-being, development and everyday life. You will lead the pedagogical work and ensure that the work is carried out with high professional quality and in accordance with current legislation and agreements.

Your tasks include, among others

• Professional and pedagogical leadership of Skovhuset
• Collaboration with relatives, municipalities and other partners
• Preparation and follow-up of action plans and documentation
• Responsibility for finances and administrative tasks
• Ensuring correct medication handling
• Staff leadership and development of the pedagogical practice

You will also be an active part of daily life in Skovhuset, where you will be part of the shift roster and participate in the day-to-day pedagogical work.

• Takes joint responsibility for the development of both the leadership team and Marjatta's overall offerings

We expect you to be a trained educator, preferably a therapeutic pedagogue. You have either a leadership qualification or are keen to pursue one, and you have an interest in both the pedagogical and administrative aspects of the leadership role. Familiarity with Rudolf Steiner's pedagogy and experience with documentation, finances and duty rosters is an advantage.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and employment: The employment and salary placement take place according to the regional collective agreement for social-pedagogical staff and Marjatta's locally agreed pre-agreements.

Starting salary for unionized employees: Marjatta, under a service agreement with Region Zealand, is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
