Head of Property Management and Service

We are in the midst of an exciting development, where we strengthen collaboration across the organization and develop a more service-oriented operations organization, and here you come into the picture as the new Head of Property Operations and Service.

We are looking for you who can create direction and coherence in daily operations so that employees can take responsibility, collaborate effectively and deliver professional service to the residents.

The position is newly created, which gives you a unique opportunity to shape both the role and the future development of the area. You will report to Development Manager Amalie Søder.

Your role and responsibilities

You will have people management responsibility for around 10 employees and will be responsible for the daily management, well-being and development of the area. At the same time you must ensure that property operations run efficiently, and that resources and service levels support the residents' needs.

You must be close enough to the operations to understand the challenges, but your task is not to solve every single case yourself. You must ensure that tasks and decisions are placed in the right place, and step in when a case requires managerial prioritization or cross-functional coordination.

At the same time you must give the property managers and property staff clear frameworks and a real mandate to make decisions in daily operations.

You will, among other things, be responsible for

• People management and employee development
• Supplier management and follow-up on contracts
• Vacation, absence and staffing planning
• Quality assurance and follow-up on service levels
• Collaboration across the secretariat and MNV Bolig's other areas of expertise
• Coordination between operations, PPV plans and projects.

Your success is therefore not measured by how many tasks you solve yourself, but by whether the employees succeed in achieving results together.

Salary and employment terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement and your qualifications.

What you bring

The perfect candidate does not exist, but we are looking for you who will contribute to us succeeding even better with the important task for our residents.

Your background could therefore be in facility management, property service or another operations- or production-oriented organization.

You may have experience leading employees, teams or projects and are certainly motivated by delivering results together with others. Your educational background could be a relevant bachelor’s or leadership education.

• Communicate clearly and create shared understanding
• Have experience with supplier management
• Are familiar with digital systems and documentation
• Have a driving licence.

You do not need to be able to tick all the boxes. The most important is that you are motivated to develop people, create common direction and strengthen collaboration.
