Does it come naturally to you to work across professional areas and departments with a basis in positive communities in the sports, culture and leisure area? Then you may be our new leader in Sports Development.

You will have the managerial responsibility for our sports-social initiatives, which share the common purpose of ensuring that disadvantaged target groups have the opportunity for an active sports, club and leisure life. The core elements of the sports-social initiatives are membership subsidies, Holiday Camps, leisure guides and social partnerships, while other projects and initiatives are also integrated in the department.

Characteristic of Sports Development is that we succeed together with the sports, leisure and culture life and in collaboration with health, employment and social areas and with schools, KKFOs, leisure clubs and youth education institutions. It is not a prerequisite that you are the academic expert, but you must be able to support and see potential in processes and employees where Sports Development can make the greatest difference. You provide an accessible and trust-based personnel leadership and an overall leadership view that ensures coordination between many actors and professional groups.

We attach importance to you having the desire and courage to lead both important development agendas and the secure operation of essential sports initiatives in Copenhagen.
