Team Leader for Team West in Rules & Incidents

Do you want to lead a team that works with rules, incidents and emergency preparedness where safe railway operation must function in practice?

You will become part of the Rules & Incidents section, where 19 employees are organized into two teams in Copenhagen and Fredericia. The employees have different professional backgrounds and work, among other things, with following up on incidents and accidents, maintaining the traffic rules and track lists as well as coordinating Banedanmark's overall emergency response. The work closely links railway safety with traffic operation, maintenance, projects and collaboration with other actors in the industry.

Here you will have a daily life with direct personnel responsibility and a broad portfolio of tasks that requires an overview, structure and the ability to set direction across different professional fields.

Your tasks

You will become team leader for Team West in Fredericia with a portfolio of tasks within incident follow-up, traffic rules and emergency preparedness. It is a role close to operations, where you must create structure in the tasks and ensure progress in the collaboration with the rest of Banedanmark and external parties.

You will, among other things, get to

• manage daily task execution in the team, including prioritizing tasks, following up on deliverables and handling direct personnel responsibility
• coordinate follow-up on railway safety incidents and ensure that learnings are translated into concrete work procedures and clear communication
• contribute to the work with traffic rules and emergency tasks in interaction with traffic, projects, maintenance, contractors as well as relevant authorities and emergency services
• prepare decision papers, professional input and status for management and partners, so the section's tasks are aligned with Banedanmark's overall operations and development.

Who are you

We are looking for a team leader who can create direction in a complex and rule-governed everyday life. Therefore, we emphasize experience and skills that are necessary to solve the tasks in the role.

We do not require a specific educational background, but you must have experience with planning, prioritizing and following up on complex tasks in an operationally close or rule-governed organization. It would be advantageous if you already have knowledge of railway safety and can create clear direction in a daily life where many tasks and areas of expertise are closely linked.

Additionally, you must be able to understand technically complex material and convey it clearly to both specialists, management and collaborators. You must thrive in cross-functional collaboration across areas and with external actors, and you must be able to obtain security clearance to Secret and maintain the clearance throughout the employment.

Salary and employment

As an academic, you are employed according to the currently applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

The placement is as Chief Consultant with personnel management in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Authority's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating an allowance. The total salary will include an employer-funded pension scheme of 18.07%.

For HK, employment follows the applicable General Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The State Area (OAO-S General Agreement) and the organizational agreement for office workers, technicians and IT employees.

The position is placed in salary group 4 according to the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Authority's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating an allowance. There will be an employer-funded pension scheme of 16% attached to the total salary.
