Head of the Service Department

As head of the service department at JJD, you will among other things

· Follow up on shipments and arrange the next steps

· Help customers with questions about their shipments

· Follow-up on exchange pallets with customers, partners and drivers

· Handle complaints about shipments

· Have one foot in the sales department

You will function as part of our transport scheduling, but with responsibility for proactive service to customers and partners. You will switch between your fixed ongoing tasks and the ad-hoc tasks that come from colleagues, customers and partners.

We are a small administrative organization that helps each other and ensures that things run in daily operations.

As a natural part of the role you will consult with your colleagues on the development of the work and the function.

Tasks run to a large extent on digital platforms, and we cultivate the possibilities to integrate intelligent AI solutions, so it becomes part of everyday life.

In your previous job you have likely sat in a transport, customer service or service department, and thus know how important it is to communicate clearly with customers about inquiries and questions, both by email and telephone.

It is an advantage, but not a limitation, if you know what a pallet is, a load meter, or how a cargo terminal basically works. At the same time you can talk to all kinds of people, whether you need information from our drivers or terminal/warehouse staff, or a customer/partner who needs a quick answer.

Most importantly, you are not afraid to lend a hand and learn, and you like to switch between tasks, where on busy days there will be tasks you need to come and go from, but still have an overview of whether it is for yourself, or further out in the organization that needs to be followed up.

Salary and terms are negotiated according to competencies. The position is expected to offer 30-37 hours.
