A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a woman in my late 30s, a single mother to a lovely boy who will soon be 5, and a dog owner to Ellie. We live in an apartment in Frederiksberg, where everyday life is characterized by both structure, humor and presence.

I live with muscular dystrophy and therefore need help in my daily life – both practical and personal. At the same time I lead an active life with social relationships and interests in art, music and creative projects. I greatly value calm energy, mutual respect and good communication.

My home is my sanctuary, and I emphasize that it is a safe place to be – also for those who work here. You will become part of a fixed team, where cooperation, trust and stability are important values.

We are a small family with room for laughter, everyday chaos and honesty – and we hope to find a helper who wants to be part of our daily life in the longer term.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a full-time disability helper for my team. Shifts are of long duration.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home clean
• Shopping and help with cooking
• Join in on outings, to friends, family and holidays
• Laundry
• Support for daily activities as needed
• Be a “fly on the wall,” even when I am social

You will as a disability helper become part of a good, flexible and essential team of disability helpers who collectively cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen’s own home, for leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen would like to participate in.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver’s license B
• Flexible
• Independent
• High hygiene standards
• Good with children
• Can tolerate dogs
• Respect and understanding for working in a private home

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Start date: 06.11.2026
• Part-time: 37 hours per week
