About the department

The former adviser in the job has obtained a position as Social-Policy Contract Negotiator/Contract Manager internally in our department and we were not able to fill the position in the first recruitment. There will also be an option for a maternity cover, so if the right candidates are there, we have two positions.

We are seeking a colleague for the follow-up team at the residential facilities, which means that your primary task consists of follow-up conversations with existing measures, i.e., for citizens who live in temporary and long-term residential facilities under §§107-108 and ABL § 105 + the follow-on paragraphs the citizens have. We aim to conduct frequent follow-ups – with particular priority to § 107 with semi-annual/annual follow-ups. The residential facility team consists of a total of 5 advisers.

Visitation and Intervention is the specialized authority area for adults in Helsingør Municipality – located in the Center for Social Intervention and Housing. The Visitation and Intervention department consists of a screening, a follow-up, an economics and an BPA and additional cost team.

We expect you to be a trained social worker and to be able to cooperate with our entire target group, i.e., disability, psychiatry and substance (mis)users, as well as their relatives. If you do not have a social worker education, we expect that you have experience from the authority field.

As part of our wonderful open-plan office, we also have the staff for the whole center sitting with us.

In Helsingør Municipality you can develop your professional competencies with help from colleagues and professional consultants. We work according to the adult assessment method VUM 2.0 and in the Nexus system. We work with Roboref for minutes writing and VUM.

We are physically located at “Prøvestenen”, Birkedalsvej 27, 3000 Helsingør, where there is free parking.
