Sought

• 1 caregiver for a temporary position: – 6 24-hour shifts per month.
• 3 permanent caregivers: 4-5 24-hour shifts per month.
• On-call substitutes who can step in for example during holidays or illness.

For all positions

• The shifts last 24 hours from 08:00 to 08:00.
• There are sleeping night shifts, but it is important that you can wake up and be available, as I may need help during the night.

My name is Elisabeth and I am 44 years old. My background is Yugoslavian, but I was born in Denmark and speak fluent Danish.

I live in a townhouse in Snekkersten with my cat. I was affected by multiple sclerosis more than 10 years ago and I cannot use my legs or arms, but my mind works normally. I currently sit in an electric wheelchair.

I am a cheerful and sociable person and I am a former trained nutrition assistant. I enjoy watching funny films or cooking good food and baking. I also like going out, for example to a cafe, and you would of course join me, but that is only relevant when I feel safe and secure with you. The days with me vary. Some days we do a lot and other times not much happens. This depends on my mood and my energy level. It is important to me that you are prepared for this.

I train twice a week with a physiotherapist in my own home.

I need help with everything. From personal hygiene to practical tasks inside and outside the home. I need someone to cook for me, clean, wash clothes, help with eating/drinking, to get in the shower and on the toilet. I need help getting up in the morning and going to bed in the evening. I use a ceiling lift when getting out of bed and when being laid down again, and a stair lift when I go to the bathroom.

I am very good at explaining how the aids are used, so you will be trained by me.

About you

• You are a female caregiver, preferably between 35 – 60 years old.
• You are reliable, as I am 100% dependent on my caregivers.
• You are positively minded, have initiative and are patient in relation to learning the job and getting to know me.
• You may have experience with the caregiver job; it is not a requirement, you will be well trained in the tasks.
• You want to collaborate in a team where we help each other to get the shift plans and days to fit together.

Employment: As soon as possible – I hire on an ongoing basis.

All caregivers receive holiday pay of 12.5% of the salary, which is paid into the Holiday Fund.
