About the job

We aim to work holistically, flexibly and effectively with activity-ready citizens in relation to employment or education.

Our ambition is to create space for professional assessments, cross-disciplinary conversations and local solutions with a focus on helping the citizen into employment or education.

We know that close and frequent contact and fewer cases matter for the work with citizens further from the labor market. When authority, the coordinating and employment-oriented efforts are gathered into concrete and meaningful actions, it enables individual solutions to benefit the individual citizen.

We offer

As a holistic caseworker you will be responsible for citizens who often find themselves in complex situations and need social, health-related and employment-oriented interventions to complement each other.

You work closely with the centre's other caseworkers, job consultants, IPS consultants, our subject-matter specialist, the municipal doctor and our many partners both inside and outside the municipality.

In the job it is important that you can keep focus on progression, and help set a clear direction on the path to work, education, paid hours or clarification of work ability.

You must be able to take initiative for employer-oriented interventions. Our employer team can help with sparring and knowledge of the local labor market, but it will be you who has contact with the companies and keeps track of formalities.

Your tasks will include

  • Administration of authority case processing in accordance with applicable law
  • Conducting conversations and close follow-up together with the citizen
  • Identifying the citizen's resources and keeping focus on opportunities rather than limitations
  • Prepare and follow up on plans, goals and concrete actions
  • Coordinate cross-disciplinary and cross-sectorial efforts around the citizen
  • Initiate employment-oriented, upskilling and clarifying courses
  • Follow up on internships and other employer-oriented initiatives
  • Prepare internship reports and professional assessments
  • Motivate and support the citizen's path toward work, education, paid hours or clarification of work capacity

We are ambitious on behalf of the citizen, we strive to be creative in our work with good solutions, and we know that the biggest differences arise in collaboration with the citizen. We focus on knowledge about what works and are ready to try new approaches to support citizens on their path to employment or education.

We are looking for?

  • It is important to us that you have an interest in the employment area, and that you have a solid social-work perspective and can navigate the current legislation.
  • You must be able to handle complex cases while maintaining focus on the citizen's resources and possibilities.
  • We place emphasis on clear documentation, close follow-up, clear and respectful communication.
  • You take responsibility and initiative and keep focus on progression – also in cross-organizational collaboration
  • You have the desire to actively work with companies and ordinary hours as part of the citizen's path forward
  • You are familiar with digital tools and quick to adapt to new professional systems
  • You are curious and ready to use the tools offered to create an overview and quality in the work.

It would be an advantage if you already have experience with activity-ready cash benefit recipients, but the most important is that you have a strong social-work foundation.

Your new workplace

You will become part of an authority team that works with

  • Activity-ready cash benefit recipients
  • Citizens in resource programs
  • Citizens on sick leave benefits and job clarification programs
  • Job-ready citizens (unemployment benefits and cash assistance)
  • Citizens in flex jobs
  • Young people

The target group for this initiative will be citizens further from the labor market (activity-ready cash benefit recipients and resource programs), and you will have a colleague who also works with a holistic approach.

Common to the citizens is that they need an employment-oriented intervention, progression towards the labor market/education or a thorough clarification of work capacity.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on January 4, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. Your workplace will be Hørsholm City Hall, Slotsmarken 13, 2970 Hørsholm. We have flexible working hours, and the possibility for home office if tasks permit.

The town hall is located close to the Helsingør motorway, and there are good public transport options with bus and the Coast Line. We have a canteen shared with nearby private companies.
