Who are we?

Holstedgaard is a social-psychiatric residential facility, housing 69 residents spread across several teams and with various psychiatric diagnoses. As a special and exciting professional challenge, many of our residents also have complicated somatic illnesses.

Your key tasks with us will be

• Holistic nursing care: Responsible for the fundamental and complex nursing for the residents with a sharp eye for both psychological and somatic issues.
• Professional documentation: Ensure high quality in the health-related and social-pedagogical documentation.
• Methodical work: Participate in team collaboration based on Holstedgaard's social-pedagogical methods.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: To be part of an interdisciplinary team including pedagogues, social- and health assistants as well as a classroom teacher.

Your competencies

• You are educated and licensed as a nurse – preferably with experience in psychiatry or a specialized training in psychiatric nursing.
• You are driven by working with people with complex needs and by supporting them in terms of both personal care and psychological care.
• You are eager to develop professionally and see shared success as the goal.
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the principles of Low Arousal , Recovery and KRAP-model – but it is not a requirement, as we will ensure you are well prepared with us.

The practical

• Working hours: In principle the position is either an evening shift or a day shift with work on weekends and holidays. The exact terms will be discussed further at a potential interview.
• Criminal record certificate: The position is subject to the law on the duty to obtain a criminal records certificate. Employment can only begin when a satisfactory certificate is available.
• Driver's license: Not a must, but a definite advantage.
