Regionssygehuset Ilulissat seeks engaged anaesthesia nurses for permanent positions or fixed-term contracts by agreement, in 2027.

About Regionssygehuset Ilulissat

Regionssygehuset Ilulissat is the largest hospital in Region Avannaa and carries out a wide range of tasks for the region's other health centres.

The hospital consists of, among other things

• Inpatient department with 21 beds
• Outpatient clinic and emergency department
• Two modern operating theatres
• Radiology and laboratory
• Physiotherapy
• Public health nursing
• Somatic and psychiatric home nursing
• Midwifery function and childbirth

Your tasks

As an anaesthesia nurse you will among other things work with

• Anesthesia for acute and planned operations
• Reception and stabilization of acute patients
• Assist at trauma receptions and critically ill patients
• Postoperative observation and care
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, nurses, assistants and other professional groups
• Teaching and professional sparring with colleagues

When there is no surgical activity, you will be a natural part of the overall patient pathway in the ward, where you cooperate closely with the department's other staff.

To get the most out of the introduction and training program, we as a rule prefer fixed-term contracts of 3 months duration or longer. Working as an anaesthesia nurse in Greenland involves a wide range of tasks, great independence and close interdisciplinary collaboration, and it takes time to become familiar with the department's functions and workflows.

At the same time we know that flexibility can be crucial. Therefore we also welcome you if you can commit to a shorter contract. The most important for us is to find the right colleague who wants to contribute to good patient care and become part of our community.

Salary and terms of employment, including entitlement to relocation and moving allowances, in accordance with the agreement between the Greenlandic Self-Government and the relevant negotiating organization in force at the time of accession.
