We are seeking positive and service-minded colleagues to join our Dishwashing, Packaging and Distribution area at the new Aalborg University Hospital in Aalborg East.

Your new everyday life

At Meals and Nutrition you will become part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that all meal trolleys are cleaned, prepared, packed and distributed to all meals for the patients. In addition to packing and handling of meal trolleys, there will also be tasks such as washing of production equipment and daily and thorough production cleaning.

The Dishwashing and Packaging/Distributions areas are central to ensure that the patient can receive the right nutrition to the right patient at the right time, which is the core of Meals and Nutrition's mission. In our Distribution area we currently package and send food to patients and canteens on 7 different campuses, which requires overview and precision as well as a high understanding of hygiene.

We are a workplace open every day of the year, so you are expected to be able to come in on weekdays, weekends and holidays, and the shifts vary in the time window from 04:00 – 22:00. If you depend on public transport, you must ensure that you can meet in the above time frame.

We value a positive attitude to solving tasks, and that you want to contribute. It is also good to be flexible, as the workflows in the house are still new, and this means ongoing adjustment of tasks. Aalborg University Hospital will become a highly automated hospital, and this implementation is also underway in the Dishwashing and Packaging/Distribution areas.

Across Meals and Nutrition we are a team of about 160 employees and you will have a daily life where we take pride in providing good service and high quality. We prepare meals for both Psychiatry and the hospitals in Aalborg, Farsø and Hobro.

About you

You have overview and like to work in a structured way. You are not afraid to take responsibility for your own tasks and to engage in collaboration with your colleagues to get tasks done. You are flexible and service-minded. Your professional background can be any experience that has helped strengthen your competences in the above. It could also be that you have not been in the labor market for many years, but the most important thing is that you have the desire and motivation to strengthen your competences.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the agreement with FOA for household assistants, etc.

37 hours per week, permanent employment. 2 positions.

Commencement as soon as possible and/or 1 December 2026.
