Do you want to set the direction for people, culture and leadership in one of Denmark's largest multi-utilities?

Aalborg Forsyning is seeking an ambitious and business-oriented HR Chief who will play a central role in developing a modern, proactive and future-proof organization. We are looking for an HR Chief with a capital H!

As HR Chief you will become a member of Aalborg Forsyning's top corporate management and will be responsible for HR, occupational safety, communications & press as well as Secretariat & Strategy. You will thus have a unique opportunity to influence the organization's overall development in a period characterized by green transition, organizational changes and new demands on leadership, competences and culture.

A Key position in Aalborg Forsyning's top leadership

As HR Chief you will become a member of Aalborg Forsyning's top corporate management and will have a significant responsibility to strengthen the organization's overall development.

You will have the management responsibility for Payroll & HR, Secretariat & Strategy, Communications & Press, and Occupational Safety, with a total of about 36 employees.

Together with CFO Niels Dechow you will become a central sparring partner in the most important decisions about people, organization and leadership. At the same time you are expected to actively contribute to the overall business development and constructively challenge the organization when necessary.

Your main tasks will be

• Support the implementation of Aalborg Forsyning's new leadership structure.
• Develop and implement an integrated HR-, organizational- and -leadership strategy.
• Further develop HR into a modern, business-supporting and data-driven function.
• Strengthen leadership quality, leadership culture, well-being and employee development in collaboration with union representatives.
• Drive talent development, succession, recruitment and employer branding.
• Support the occupational health and safety efforts in close collaboration with managers and the occupational health organization
• Further develop the group's sustainability reporting.
• Ensure professional internal and external communication as well as press handling.
• Ensure the interaction between the leadership Secretariat and the strategic staff.
• Create a common direction and strong collaboration between the four areas of responsibility.

Who are you?

You are an experienced HR leader with proven results in strategic HR, organizational development and change management.

You may currently hold a title such as HR Director, HR Chief, People & Culture Director or equivalent and come from a larger or complex organization. Perhaps from the private sector. Perhaps from the public sector. The key is that you have previously led significant organizational changes and know how people, culture and leadership are translated into results.

• Have understanding of personnel law, collective agreements and HR operations.
• Have experience with occupational health and safety and collaboration with employee representatives.
• Have a strong digital mindset and experience with HR systems, data and People Analytics.
• Communicate confidently, clearly and credibly at all organizational levels.
• Able to deliver results through others and build strong relationships across the organization.
