Huholt School is seeking 1 engaged teacher as of 1 December or as soon as possible, who is passionate about teaching and making a difference for students with substantial emotional and social difficulties. We have admitted several pupils and must therefore establish a new class in our primary school.

The position is 37 hours

We expect you to

• Be a qualified teacher
• Can work independently and in teams, be proactive and take the initiative to solutions
• Are curious and reflect in your approach in your work with our students
• Have knowledge of low arousal as well as basic theory about children with socio-emotional difficulties and be able to translate it into practice
• Through structure and clarity create a positive learning environment for both the individual student and the class.
• Have abilities and competence to engage in close cross-professional collaboration
• Have special education experience and know "that it is the right fit for me"
• Are robust, flexible and thrive in a daily life characterized by students with many different needs
• Are inventive and eager for outdoor life and movement activities
• Master expanded parental collaboration, which is a necessity in working with the target group to ensure a positive development for the student

The position is paid according to the applicable collective agreement. Upon hiring, copies of a criminal record and a child protection certificate will be requested.
