Information security consultant for Rebild Municipality

In the security team of Rebild Municipality we are looking for an information security consultant who can help develop and drive the work with information security in the municipality.

Rebild Municipality has in recent years focused on the development and operation of the information security area and places great emphasis on both implementing the work and further developing the area, so information security becomes an even more natural part of the daily work in the municipality.

You will become part of the IT and Digitalisation department, where we are four teams that work together across an informal environment, where you will never be left alone with the tasks.

About the position

Your tasks will vary and consist of a mix of concrete operational tasks, development projects, participation in relevant networks around information security, etc.

For example, this can include

• Enter into data processing agreements and supervise data processors
• Test and revise emergency plans and procedures
• Prepare and maintain policies and guidelines
• Prepare risk assessments and impact analyses
• Advise and support the organization's work with tasks related to information security
• Participate in government-wide and municipal knowledge networks and working groups
• Register, report and follow up on security incidents

We distribute the tasks in the team among us based on relevant competencies and areas of interest.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has a strong desire to give the work with information security a human face. You work solution-oriented and understand how to translate legislation and requirements into municipal practice, where consideration for professional needs, workflows and development opportunities must come together in one.

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have

• experience with information security and GDPR
• familiarity with or interest in working in a politically governed organization
• familiarity with relevant standards and legislation, such as ISO27001 – and 27002, the NIS2 directive, among others

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with start on 1 December 2026.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
