Do you want an internship that gives you both professional challenges, hands-on experience and a strong sense of community? As a intern at LINAK you will become part of a unique intern network and will have the opportunity to work professionally with quality and testing in an international company.

Each semester we welcome 20–25 interns from different study programs. You will become part of the LINAK family and work closely with skilled colleagues. There are opportunities to work on both larger and smaller tasks, all stemming from real problems in value-creating projects.

About the internship – production quality and Q-test

In the field of quality we work with both production quality and Q-test . A common thread for both areas is that you will play a central role in areas that each ensure we deliver the best products to our customers. You can be involved in the process, whether it is to optimize quality processes or to test new software solutions.

Within production quality you will be part of the quality process in production. You will work both analytically and practically to ensure high quality in our products and processes.

The tasks can include

• testing new software solutions related to production
• optimization and standardization of quality processes
• mechanical testing of product components
• identification and handling of quality deviations
• participation in – or responsibility for – value-creating quality projects
• collaboration across departments to improve flow, lead time and working conditions

In Q-test you will be part of a small team that works with testing new systems and software solutions for LINAK customers. The team has an informal tone and a motivating working structure where there is quick access to the nearest manager.

The tasks can include

• testing new systems and software solutions
• testing updates and further development
• testing previously released products
• documentation and follow-up on test results
• collaboration with development and quality departments

Projects

Varies according to qualifications and interests. Here are a few examples of projects that previous interns have worked on:

• Within production quality, a previous intern worked on improving, streamlining and standardizing workflows across departments to raise quality and at the same time improve value stream, lead time and production flow.
• Within Q-test, a previous intern worked on testing both new solutions, software updates and previously released products.

About you

To create the best possible match, we would like to know what about quality and/or testing interests you. You do not need to know everything in advance – the most important is that you:

• are pursuing a relevant education, e.g., in production, electronics, software or health technology
• see opportunities rather than limitations
• want practical experience and a steep learning curve
• have a positive and welcoming attitude
• can view problems from multiple perspectives
• are motivated by academic challenges
