IT consultant

Do you want to help develop customers' IT environments and translate their needs into solutions that work in practice?

For Azend we are looking for an IT consultant who is passionate about IT and thrives on combining technical work with close customer contact. You have a solid technical foundation, insight into Modern Work and Microsoft 365, and a desire to help customers operate and develop their IT.

Your primary workplace will be at Azend's office in Ikast. If you live toward Skanderborg or Esbjerg, there is an option to work from one of these offices 1-2 days a week.

At Azend you will become an important technical sparring partner for the customers. You will understand their needs, participate in client meetings and help find the right solutions. At the same time you will collaborate with the sales department on pre-sales and design of IT solutions, and most importantly, you will be involved in implementing the solutions at the customers.

Your tasks

As an IT consultant you will work with a wide range of tasks with main focus on Microsoft technologies, implementation and the customers' daily IT.

Your tasks will include

• Help customers with their IT and the ongoing development of their IT environments
• Implementation and configuration of solutions within Modern Work and Microsoft 365
• Working with IT security as a natural part of the customers' solutions
• Participate in customer meetings and translate customers' needs into concrete technical solutions
• Support the sales department with technical pre-sales, sparring and design of IT solutions
• Plan and carry out implementations, migrations and changes at the customers
• Work on and troubleshoot basic network solutions at customers, including LAN, Wi-Fi, firewall and VPN.

You don't need to be a specialist in all areas. The most important thing is that you are a skilled IT technician with a solid technical foundation, who can take responsibility for a task and lead it from needs and solution design to a well-functioning implementation at the customer.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience from a technical IT role, preferably as an IT consultant, IT technician or similar, and have practical insight into Modern Work and Microsoft 365. You also have an understanding of IT security and a good basic knowledge of networks, as well as a general interest in IT and new technologies.

In addition, we value that you

• Are technically strong and enjoy implementing and getting IT solutions to work in practice
• Have insight into Modern Work and Microsoft 365
• Have understanding of IT security and think security into your work
• Enjoy customer contact and can communicate technical solutions in a language the customer understands
• Have an interest in pre-sales and can contribute with technical sparring and solution design together with the sales department
• Have a solid basic understanding of networks and can work on common network tasks and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Fortinet, Ubiquiti or Cisco, for example, is an advantage
• Are a team player who collaborates constructively with your colleagues and uses sparring as a natural part of everyday life
• Work independently, take responsibility and see your tasks through to the end
