As a result of the Welfare Reform, Jobcenter Odder began a major transformation at the start of 2026 and we are in full swing with implementing the Reform’s intentions. This means, among other things, that we have implemented the necessary savings and now focus fully on developing a future-proof Jobcenter Odder.

Jobcenter Odder has a strong job-focused focus and a strong cross-disciplinary community in solving tasks. We are therefore organized into two new task communities, Team Job & Employer Services and Team Job & Attachment.

The vacant positions are anchored in Team Job & Employer Services, where we handle all tasks for people who receive unemployment benefits under the Danish Unemployment Insurance Act, the education-ready, job-ready and activity-ready cash benefit recipients over 25 years, the people who receive unemployment benefits and people employed in flex jobs.

Both positions involve tasks around the people who receive unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Act and citizens over 25 who receive cash benefits. Depending on your profile, you will initially have primary tasks within either insured job seekers or cash-benefit target groups, but in time you will handle tasks within both areas.

The organization means that as a job counselor you are central to citizens’ progression in the Jobcenter. You will therefore handle both authority tasks and outreach employer-facing functions for concrete citizens. In selected cases you also act as mentor.

Team Job & Employer Services consists of 17 employees with diverse professional backgrounds and a professional coordinator. The team is characterized by a strong professional commitment and a high degree of flexibility in task resolution, and the culture is marked by collegial mutual help.

We are particularly focused on ensuring that the timing and planning of the efforts are aligned with the citizen’s situation and needs – with a clear job- and education-oriented aim. We have a strong focus on the job-focused approach, where job goals match the demand for labor and where hours worked are a central element of the effort.

As our new colleague your duties will include

• Guidance and case handling for people who receive unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Act, as well as the education-ready, job-ready and activity-ready cash benefit recipients over 25 years
• Visitation conversations for citizens over 25 who seek cash benefits
• Outreach employer contact related to concrete citizen pathways
• Establishment of agreements on paid hours, wage subsidies and company internships
• Planning and conducting follow-up meetings at companies, where you act as meeting facilitator
• Preparation of documentation in our professional systems
• Advice and guidance to companies, employers and citizens about possibilities within the employment-oriented initiatives

About the job

This is a permanent 37-hour-per-week position and a maternity leave cover until summer 2027. Both positions are desired to be filled by 1 December 2026.

Salary and employment are according to the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn (New Pay) principles.
