About the job

We are seeking several legal case handlers for our private team in Roskilde.

Estate administration will be your primary area of expertise, and you will have your own portfolio of estates as you gain experience and develop. At the same time, you will work with other private-law areas such as divisions of estates, wills and future powers of attorney.

We are especially looking for you if you already have experience with probate administration. You do not need to know everything from day one, but you should have a solid legal foundation and a desire to develop further within the area.

Your role

You will – depending on your experience – manage estates from the first contact with the heirs to the completion of the estate.

Estate administration is an area where law, finance and human contact go hand in hand. Many of our clients meet us during a difficult period of their lives, and therefore we emphasize both high professional standards, an overview and a good and respectful dialogue.

You will work closely with the team’s lawyers and other colleagues. There is therefore always an opportunity to discuss a case with an experienced colleague, while also having space to run your own cases.

Your tasks will include

  • handling of probate estates from start to finish
  • contact and ongoing dialogue with heirs, the probate court, banks, authorities and other involved parties
  • preparation of relevant documents and statements in connection with estate administration
  • handling of divisions of estates
  • preparation of wills and future powers of attorney
  • other legal casework within private law.

Your profile

You have a relevant legal background and experience with probate administration. You could be a jurist or have gained solid legal experience in case handling in the area.

We imagine that you

  • have practical experience with probate administration and preferably experience handling your own estates
  • have experience with or interest in other private-law areas such as estate division, wills and future powers of attorney
  • work in a structured way and can keep an overview of deadlines, finances, documents and the many parties involved in a case
  • are comfortable with direct client contact and can create calm and clarity in conversations with heirs, who are often in a difficult situation
  • take responsibility for your cases and see them through to the end.

If you have not worked with all areas, it is not essential. The most important for us is that you have a solid foundation in probate administration and a desire to work more broadly with private law.

What do we offer?

You will become part of our private team in Roskilde, where we are eight colleagues who work closely together and are good at helping each other in daily work.

You will have the opportunity to brainstorm with experienced colleagues and develop through the cases you work on. As your experience grows, you can take on more and more complex cases into your own portfolio.

We offer

  • close professional sparring with experienced colleagues
  • flexible working hours of a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • flex time and the possibility to adapt daily life
  • an informal work environment with a flat structure and short decision paths.
