We at Frelloskolen are currently in the fortunate position to offer a permanent position at our middle level. Your subject specializations are not decisive for us regarding whether it is you we should hire. The most important for us is to hire a teacher who is passionate about creating a school day that makes sense, that generates engagement and strengthens the sense of community among our students. It would, however, be a plus if you can teach Danish at the middle level.

Frelloskolen is the community where everyone engages. We are focused on ensuring that what we work with at the school makes sense for our children and young people. We want to equip our students to participate actively in the world. We therefore primarily work with project-based learning at Frelloskolen.

At Frelloskolen your teaching is consolidated within one year group. It gives you and your team the opportunity for close collaboration, flexibility and deepening – exactly what we want to offer our students.

Our year-group teams have fixed coordination time every week, full control over the year group's timetable, own finances and a good portion of two-teacher hours across all year groups. You will meet engaged and helpful colleagues and leaders who care about you and who are always happy to help you.

You should have the following in your backpack

• Have an affirming view of children and people , where all children and adults do their best.
• Have good collaboration skills and be prepared for a committed collaboration in the year-group team.
• Have strong competencies within learning-space management and relationship work.
• Be good at communicating and creating and maintaining a good dialogue with the parents – a dialogue that both involves and informs.

About Frelloskolen

Frelloskolen is a newly built school that opened its doors on the first school day in August 2021. Frelloskolen is located in the town of Varde, and with our 840 students and just under 90 staff we are the largest school in Varde municipality.

We work each year with 4 project courses lasting 6–8 weeks. To support us in developing as a project-based school, we have entered into an agreement with the KATA Foundation. We therefore started in August 2022 as one of the 9 Leaps-schools in Denmark. You can read more about Leaps-schools here: https://leapsskoler.dk/

As a new employee at Frelloskolen you will receive courses, training and sparring, so you are equipped to collaborate with your colleagues to create engaging project courses.

Salary and employment

The position is a permanent full-time position. Start date will be agreed upon at the interview. Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement.
