Can you climb trees, play soccer and carve with a dagger? - if so you may be our new pedagogical assistant at Ringkøbing Daycare, Dept. Trinbrættet

We are looking for a pedagogy assistant (pædagogmedhjælper) for 20 hours per week with immediate start and up to 30 June 2027, for the group with the oldest children in the Trinbrættet department. The group meets in Trinbrættet but most days they go out into the forest, where they are in the time from 9:00 – 15:00.

We are looking for you who isn’t afraid to get dirty!

With us there is room for mud on the trousers, red cheeks and big experiences outdoors. We believe that children learn, develop and become capable through play, movement, curiosity and communities.

Therefore we are looking for you who want to be with us when we climb trees, play football, explore nature or take out the knife to carve in wood. You don’t need to be a world champion at it all – but you must want to participate and be willing to try something new.

In the Forest there is room for both laughter, adventure and good experiences – but also for the days when things don’t go exactly as planned.

We are looking for you who dare to stay in the difficult situations, meet the children with patience and clarity and not give up when it takes a little extra. You don’t need to have all the answers, but you must want to understand the child, take responsibility and find solutions together with your colleagues.

You will become part of a community

Your everyday life will be in the Forest, where you will have five professionally skilled and engaged colleagues close to you. Together you create a safe, fun and developmentally rewarding everyday life for a group of more than 30 children.

But you will not only be part of the Forest. We are one institution in Trinbrættet and part of the larger community in Ringkøbing Daycare. This means that we have both our close community around the children in the Forest and a larger community where we collaborate, share experiences and learn from each other.

We believe that we succeed best when we stand together, use each other’s strengths and help each other – both in the small communities and across the entire institution. For us, it’s about being part of something larger, where everyone contributes, and where we together make a difference for the children.
