Kitchen Assistant at Børnehuset Ejerslykke Børnehave

Børneinstitution Tornbjerg-Rosengård is looking for a kitchen assistant at Børnehuset Ejerslykke Børnehave.

Our current kitchen staff is leaving, and therefore we are seeking a new employee to take

care of the lunch arrangement for our wonderful children in the kindergarten. The position is to be filled by 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About the job

We are looking for a dedicated, smiling and reliable kitchen assistant to help us

create healthy and tasty meals for our 53 children. The food is delivered by Fru

Hansens kælder and is partly prepared, so the task in the kitchen is to heat up

food, cook pasta/rice, make porridge, spread rye bread, slice vegetables, etc. And not least

make it all look inviting when it is served to the children. In addition, it requires

that you have an overview and can keep order as well as that you have IT competencies, since

ordering of goods is done digitally.

The lunch arrangement is parent-elected and is up for election every other year.

About us

Børnehuset Ejerslykke Børnehave is part of Børneinstitution Tornbjerg-Rosengård,

which consists of 6 kindergartens and 1 special kindergarten. All kindergartens in the institution have

lunch arrangements, so there is plenty of opportunity to spar with other colleagues from the same

field.

Ejerslykke Børnehave is normed for 53 kindergarten children (3-6 years).

About you

Our new employee has a good overview, enjoys being with children,

communicates in a good way and can accommodate that there are children who are interested in

what happens in the kitchen.

We would like you to

• Be stable and robust, have self-control and a hygiene course. If you do not have a hygiene course

can be provided after employment.

• Like to be busy, have a good overview, are efficient and do not shy away from challenges,

because you are good at finding solutions.

• Want to work with children and pedagogical staff and include food, courage and joy

into projects and everyday life.

• Participate in kitchen network meetings 4 x annually at Børneinstitution Tornbjerg-Rosengård

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the

negotiating organization.
