Kitchen staff with leadership responsibilities sought

Are you experienced in the restaurant industry and ready for a busy and exciting everyday life with responsibility?

We are seeking a DANISH-SPEAKING person with leadership responsibility, who can thrive in a fast pace and take responsibility for the tasks in our kitchen.

We offer a full-time position, where working hours are in the period 9.00-21.00 (outside the season). The position is as a permanent employee year-round, with varying hours depending on the season. In peak season there will be more hours.

Our dining venue, located by the harbor in Hirtshals, is known for its delicious fish dishes and has a large outdoor serving area. We are very busy in peak season, so we are seeking a robust and engaged employee who can participate in this dynamic period.

Your tasks include

• Maintain an overview and lead the tasks in the kitchen.
• Delegate tasks to colleagues and apprentices.
• Preparation of food and plating.
• Cleaning
• Possibility to take responsibility for, among other things, self-monitoring, etc., in due course.

We are looking for you who

• Have solid experience from the restaurant industry, which is a major requirement.
• Can maintain an overview and handle many tasks at once.
• Thrive working with young people and can lead a team.
• Are robust and can work many hours standing/walking.
• No physical or mental health restrictions.
• Can speak, read and write Danish. English is a must, German is an advantage, but not essential
