Klub Vestamager is seeking 1 untrained club assistant, 30 hours.

The position is fixed-term until the end of December 2026. You are as a starting point based at Klub Vest.

Klub Vestamager consists of 2 leisure clubs organized under Ung Tårnby, which is the umbrella for the clubs and the Youth School in Tårnby Municipality. At Klub Vest there is also a youth club, which covers all young people in Vestamager.

Klub Tårnby Vest

The leisure club is normed for 200 children from 4th to 6th grade. The youth club has visits from young people from 7th grade up to they turn 18.

Klub Vests children attend the nearby Skelgårdsskolen, which is a four-track school but under expansion. The youth club’s young people come from the entire Tårnby Vest area.

Klub Munken

The leisure club is normed for 190 children from 4th to 6th grade. Klub Munken is organized together with the leisure club Vest, which is located in the same area of the municipality. The clubs share a manager and a future deputy manager.

The leisure club's children attend the nearby schools, Pilegårdsskolen and Amager Privatskole.

Guidelines for an untrained club assistant (pedagogical helper)

• We focus on building relationships between the children and strengthening their social and individual competences. This means that you are aware of the social relations around the children. You will continuously be in dialogue with the pedagogues and receive the necessary guidance.
• We would very much like to have someone who wishes to be outdoors as a starting point. You will enjoy playing ball games and outdoor games with the children. Of course there will also be many indoor activities, but you will primarily be on the outdoor area when the weather and time permit.
• We are therefore seeking a mature and responsible adult who wishes to work with older children, as well as young people in our youth club once a week. It is important to us that you can work independently, and not be afraid to make mistakes—it’s what we all do, we just need to learn from them.

We have two really lovely houses, and a culture where a lot is tried out and can be made to work.

The leisure club is open from 13:30 to 17:30 on weekdays and on Fridays until 17:00. The youth club is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 18:00 to 22:00.

It is expected that there will be 1 fixed youth club shift per week. In addition there may be supportive teaching, which is handled at the school before the after-school club opens.

The position as an untrained club assistant will be a maximum of 30 hours per week. Expect varying working hours, for example in connection with school holidays when we are open from 10:00 to 17:00, events, camps, etc.
