Web Consultant with Strong Communication Skills

Would you like to help develop Kalundborg Municipality's digital communication and bring our stories to life?

We are looking for a colleague who can take professional responsibility for our website and intranet while also helping to strengthen the municipality's external communication. You should also have several communication-related skills in your toolbox—from good texts and short films to content for social media and the ability to tell the good story.

You will become a central part of the Communications Team, where we are three colleagues who help each other, share knowledge and take on tasks for the entire organization.

Your main tasks

You will take professional responsibility for the municipality's website and intranet and coordinate the work in the web and intranet editorial teams. You will also be responsible for web accessibility and provide sparring on web, intranet and digital communication across the organization.

Additionally you shall

• Develop content and formats that make the municipality's communication relevant and easy to understand for citizens and other target groups.
• Test and use AI and new technologies where they can strengthen the municipality's external communication – e.g. in the work with content, formats and visibility.

We envision that you

• Have knowledge of SEO, GEO and good web communication
• Have familiarity with work on web accessibility
• Have technical understanding of CMS and integration solutions
• Have experience from the public sector
• Are strong at collaborating and building relationships.

It is an advantage if you also have experience with

• Writing and targeting texts for the web, social media and other external channels.
• Producing and editing short films that convey a story or a message clearly.
• Advising on how to meet the press.
• AI tools for communication tasks, user involvement and workshops as well as the Microsoft 365 platform overall.

Your educational background is less important to us than your competences and experience.

Practical information

Workplace: Kalundborg Town Hall

Employment: Full-time with commencement no later than February 1

Salary: The salary framework is approx. 45,000 - 48,000 DKK and is negotiated individually based on your qualifications and experience.
