SONFOR seeks a dialog- and stakeholder-oriented communications consultant

Do you want to use your communication skills and strategic thinking to ensure understanding of and local engagement in the future-proofing of Sønderborg's critical infrastructure? Then we would like to hear from you!

Over the coming years, SONFOR will build a completely new purification structure that will purify Sønderborg's wastewater even better, two new waterworks that will ensure high drinking water quality for many years to come, and a wind turbine park in Lillebælt, which will contribute to ensuring that the Sønderborg area has a sufficient and secure local energy supply. These are large projects that affect our customers and the local community, require large shared investments, and therefore also require lots of communication and dialogue.

About the job

As a communications consultant, your role will be to create local understanding of and engagement in the projects and initiatives SONFOR works with. Your main task will be to implement strategic, proactive and transparent communications and stakeholder initiatives that create understanding of and trust in SONFOR's activities and projects.

In addition, your tasks will include

• Prepare and implement communications plans around SONFOR's construction projects across channels.
• Ensure high involvement of the local community by facilitating dialogue meetings and ensuring that SONFOR is present where it is relevant.
• Train colleagues and leaders in SONFOR's communication concepts and brainstorm with them about presentations, talks, messages and other dissemination and communication tasks
• Participate in SONFOR's crisis communication preparedness and press duty scheme.

About you

You have a relevant education in journalism or communications, and experience with stakeholder communication, change communication and PR.

You have worked strategically and operationally with communications on large transformation projects and have a sharp eye for both the political landscape and the public's needs.

As a person, you are visionary, engaged, proactive and skilled at building relationships, both internally and externally. You take ownership of your tasks and have a strong ability to coordinate, involve and execute.
