Who are we

We are Job & Development. We are a unified department across the authority area within employment on flexible jobs, resource courses and activity-ready cash benefits. Our department consists of 30 dedicated coordinating job advisers as well as a professional coordinator, an operations coordinator and a department head.

Your primary core task will be citizens who are on cash benefits and resource courses.

We believe that employer-oriented work has a positive effect for the citizens. We believe that it creates better welfare for citizens when we focus on "mastery of one’s own life" and work in a holistic manner alongside employer-oriented initiatives.

We work based on meaningful, clear and sustainable principles with and for the citizen. We have particularly good experience and effect of working with paid hours.

We have a special focus on early intervention and parallel efforts. At the same time, we know that our other colleagues in the municipality often contribute to the good solution. And together we lift the core task in dialogue with the citizen.

We emphasize that you have worked within the employment area. It is not a requirement that you are trained social worker or social facilitator, but it is a big plus if you are.

Salary and employment terms

The workplace is the Center for Labour Market, Advisory and Integration - Slagelse Job Centre, Skovsøgade 10G, 4200 Slagelse. In time, our location will change to Kalundborgvej 59A, 4200 Slagelse, expected in the second half of 2027.

Full-time position of 37 hours on average per week.

We expect you to start no later than January 4, 2027.

Starting salary

• For social worker per month full-time and excluding pension (kr. 35,656.33 – 37,846.87) kr. including basic salary supplement)
• For social facilitator per month full-time and excluding pension (kr. 35,933.33 - 37,472.92 kr. including basic salary supplement)
• For employment adviser etc. per month full-time and excluding pension (34,522.33 kr.)

Note that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on education and qualifications according to the Ny løn (New Pay) principles.

When employed by Slagelse Municipality, references will be obtained and a criminal record certificate may be requested.

Slagelse Municipality is a smoke- and tobacco-free workplace.
