QUALITY TECHNICIAN

At HOUNØ we are seeking for our Quality Department a Quality Technician who thrives on working in a structured and detail-oriented way and who is motivated by creating quality in both processes and products. You will become an important part of our quality work and play a central role in the collaboration between Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Warehouse.

Your main tasks will be

• Inspection, measurement and assessment of parts for conformity with specifications.
• Deviation handling, including root cause analysis, correction and prevention
• Ensure compliance with quality guidelines/controls in production
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
• Participation in optimization of processes and workflows
• Handling of ad hoc tasks within quality and improvement work

Your competencies

You can have several different professional backgrounds, such as Quality Technician, Production Technologist, Industrial Technician or similar with experience from a manufacturing company. The most important is that you understand quality work, work systematically and are motivated to create improvements and ensure high quality in the organization. We envisage that you:

• Have experience from a manufacturing company
• Have knowledge of quality management and quality control
• Ideally have experience with ISO 9001 and working in management systems
• Have knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Proficient in Danish and English, in writing and speech
• Have good IT skills and be able to use the Office suite at user level
• Have experience with or interest in process optimization and continuous improvements

As a person you are detail-oriented and quality-conscious with a structured and systematic approach to your tasks. You work independently and thrive with freedom under responsibility. At the same time you are clear in your communication, take initiative and follow your tasks thoroughly and persistently to the finish. You are collaborative and contribute actively to a good collegial atmosphere and a positive working environment.
