Senior consultant for circular construction

We are looking for an experienced colleague who can advise on circular construction and develop new projects with companies, authorities and research partners. You combine technical depth with a eye for new trends and opportunities, and at the same time you thrive with both digging into new projects and delivering concrete advisory to customers.

As part of the Center for Sustainable Construction you will become a central professional voice in a team where deep specialist knowledge meets practical experience.

You will work at the intersection of consultancy and development, where you can use your insights from your commercial tasks to develop new solutions in development assignments – and vice versa. Your tasks range from translating legislation into usable solutions for customers - to developing new projects together with national and international partners.

Your responsibilities will include

• Advice on construction and demolition waste, selective demolition, as well as reuse and recycling of building materials.
• Development of applications to the EU and national funds as well as idea development, consortia formation and fund management.
• Management of national and international projects of varying size.
• Preparation of analyses, technical reports and guidelines in Danish and English
• Building and maintaining customer relationships and professional networks as well as development of new advisory tasks.

Your background

You have an education as a civil engineer (possibly with a Ph.D.), or a similarly relevant technical or natural science background, and you have 5-10 years of relevant experience within the construction industry - preferably from the consultancy sector.

We value that you

• Have professional depth in circular construction, construction waste and relevant environmental and waste regulation.
• Have experience with project management, project development and grant applications.
• Understand the construction value chain and can create collaboration across companies and disciplines.
• Write and communicate clearly in Danish and English.

You do not need to be able to do everything, but you should be able to take professional responsibility, build good customer relationships and follow up tasks to completion.
