At our factory in Odense there are currently 25 dedicated employees equally split between administration and production. We are looking for an employee for Quality and Development

You will become part of a company with more than 220 years of history, with a proud tradition of producing tobacco pastilles of the highest quality. We work according to HACCP principles across the entire production, and see ourselves as a food-like company.

Job description

We are seeking a lab technician for 30 hours per week. You will be part of a small team consisting of you and the quality manager, to whom you will report. Analyses are performed and samples taken every day, some handled on the company and others sent to external laboratories. Examples of analyses handled at the company include: microbiological analyses, dry matter, pH, sensory analyses.

It is not a requirement that you are a user of the product or other nicotine preparations.

We would prefer the starting date to be around 01.02.2027 at the latest.

Your primary tasks

• Handling, sampling, execution and reporting of analyses.
• Quality assurance of products, quality management systems, and finished goods.
• Participation in the HACCP team.
• Development of new products.
• Performing checks of equipment and apparatus at the company.
• Diverse ad hoc tasks in the laboratory and the factory.
• Close collaboration with production

Your profile

You have a flair for analysis handling and planning of these. You enjoy working independently, and find calm in this. You must be able to collaborate with the other teams across the company. You have a broad overview and are punctual. You have knowledge of production companies, and preferably HACCP principles. You are positive and open as a person. It is important you speak and understand Danish. You have a good knowledge of IT and a good understanding of numbers.

You are reliable and take responsibility for your tasks.

We would like you to

Have experience from a position in a production company that manufactures under food legislation. Have broad knowledge of analysis handling, as well as understanding of reporting these analyses. Have good collaboration skills and can work across the organization in a positive and constructive manner.

You will have influence on the development of new products, and the quality assurance of current products on the market. You will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge in several ways.
