Teacher for grades 1 to 5 at Frederiksværk School

We are looking for a teacher who has an eye for students’ wellbeing and academic and personal development potentials, and who has strong relational skills.

We imagine that you are passionate about your students’ learning and would like to bring teaching out into authentic learning environments and find it exciting to think about learning in many ways, as well as seeing it as your task to create participation opportunities for all children. You have an eye for the sense of community in the classroom and at the school, just as you are curious about your own teaching and how it is best planned didactically – preferably in close collaboration with colleagues.

We are seeking a teacher for our grades 1 to 5 section with competencies in the subjects Danish, visual arts, English and cultural subjects. Other subjects and combinations can also come into play.

The school has 400 students, and we focus on safeguarding the story of Frederiksværk School as the natural choice for the area's children, where wellbeing, community and learning as well as participation opportunities for the broad child community are at the forefront. We moved in January 2023 into a newly built school, where we can enjoy the beautiful buildings and plenty of light and air every day.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the applicable collective agreement. Base salary for the lowest step is DKK 39,293.85/month excluding pension. In addition, qualification and position allowances may be agreed.
