Teacher for the 1st to 5th grade at Frederiksværk School

We are looking for a teacher who has an eye for the pupils' wellbeing and academic and personal development potential, and who has strong relationship skills.

We imagine that you are passionate about your students' learning and would like to bring teaching out into authentic learning environments and find it exciting to think about learning in many ways, as well as seeing it as your task to create opportunities for participation for all children. You have an eye for the sense of community in the class and at the school, just as you are curious about your own teaching and how it is best planned didactically – preferably in close collaboration with colleagues.

We are looking for a teacher for our 1st to 5th grade section with competencies in the subjects Danish, visual arts, English and cultural subjects. Other subjects and combinations can also come into play.

The school has 400 pupils, and we focus on safeguarding the story of Frederiksværk School as the natural choice for the area's children, where wellbeing, community and learning as well as opportunities for participation for the broad child community are top priority. We moved in January 2023 to a newly built school, where every day we can enjoy the beautiful buildings and plenty of light and air.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The base salary for the lowest pay grade is 39,293.85 DKK per month ex. pension. In addition, qualification and functional allowances may be agreed.
