About the job

We need a teacher who is enthusiastic about working at a small school where we naturally and flexibly help each other with focus on our core task; the children's learning and well-being. You must be prepared to join our professional learning communities, where one opens one's practice to colleagues, has sparring conversations and curiously works to develop one's own practice to benefit the children.

We are focused on learning in diverse learning environments, where all children experience being in privileged positions.

As a teacher, you are in a team with and work closely with both pedagogues and teachers to develop practice. We have prioritized having a two-adult hour, so you should be willing to and possibly also experienced with developing co-teaching.

There is scheduled team time and opportunities for joint preparation time.

In this school year there will be teaching hours for grades 3-6.

Gårslev School is beautifully situated in the southern part of Vejle Municipality close to woods and Vejle Fjord. We have about 172 children in grades 0-6 and 24 engaged and development-oriented staff. To the school there is linked a SFOI/SFOII and an evening club for local youths.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and the principles of New Salary. This is a permanent position with start on December 1, 2026 or earlier.

Information about starting salary

Employment takes place according to the collective agreement for teachers etc. in the public school and for special education for adults, §§ 3-6 on wage determination. The expected starting monthly salary for full-time excluding pension and including teaching supplement is in the range 35,138 to 41,644 DKK. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and wage level, is determined based on your education, seniority and qualifications and the specific offered position.
