Since one of our German teachers has taken a job 500 meters from their home, we are looking for a German- and possibly English-teacher, who with great engagement and willingness to develop all our students, will ensure that our students receive varied teaching at a high academic level and ensure that all students develop academically. Our upper primary and middle grades, Udgård and Midgård, are two- or three-tracked.

There is a strong solidarity in the departments, where we, in addition to sparring about the subjects, meet for gatherings, subject days, alternative weeks, etc. We have close collaboration in our teams and department leaders who are close in everyday life.

We expect of you that you

• Are a trained teacher with German as a major subject.
• Are relationally competent, present, attentive and a clear adult whom the students can feel will help them.
• Are good at organizing meaningful learning with varied teaching and movement.
• Want to work closely with colleagues in the team/department, and contribute with engagement, a professional attitude and good humor.
• Will be a meaningful contact adult for the students, because you understand the importance of close cooperation between school and home.
• As a person you are curious and eager to try things and learn new. Therefore you also use the other professionals around a student to succeed and to become wiser about what can create good learning, well-being and development.

About us

Bredagerskolen is one of the City of Vejle's large public schools and has a long tradition of pedagogical development.

Some of our ongoing focus areas are: Continued development of professional learning communities, creating participation opportunities for all students including through CO-teaching and ensuring learning progression for all students.

Bredagerskolen collaborates with the Teacher and Pedagogue Education in Jelling, among other things as a practice school.

Employment terms

Salary in accordance with New Salary and the applicable collective agreement. This is a permanent full-time position with the possibility of reduced hours - if desired.
