Are you ready to lead the leisure club environment in Inneruulat, where you with professionalism and clear leadership can make a difference for children and young people – and at the same time help shape a leisure club in exciting development? A leisure club with different activities.

The leisure club shares premises with the after-school club.

You as a leader can help shape the interior, culture and pedagogical direction of the club.

The club provides the framework for leisure activities for children and young people aged 9–21.

Opening hours and structure

Your working hours will primarily be from 15:00 – 23:00; otherwise arrangements can be made for changes.

Your profile – what we are looking for

We are seeking a leader who

·Has a relevant pedagogical education (e.g., pedagogue, teacher or pedagogical assistant, etc.).

·Has experience with leadership.

·Is clear, steady

·Has a desire to work pedagogically and strategically with children's and young people's well-being and development

·Can develop and structure pedagogical activities in collaboration with staff and the club council and management

·Is familiar with children's rights, duty to report and professional boundaries

·Is mentally robust, proactive and able to stand firm in challenging situations

·Has skills in IT and administration – and can participate in financial management and planning

·Ideally bi-lingual (Greenlandic/Danish or Greenlandic/English) but not required

You will among other things be responsible for

·Developing and implementing a new structure and vision for the club

·Be the daily and strategic leader for Fritidsklubben Inneruulat and collaborate with the management

·Prepare annual schedule, hold professional sparring and support collaboration across the clubs

·Strengthen teamwork and introduce new pedagogical ways of working

·Be a safe and unifying face for both children, parents and staff

Criminal record and Children's Certificate

This position is governed by the Act on the obligation to obtain criminal record and children's certificate. In accordance with the law, employment cannot begin until the municipality has received satisfactory criminal record and children's certificates. Please note that the start date can only be agreed once the municipality has received the children's certificate from the National Police and the criminal record from the Police.

The children's certificate is obtained by the municipality with the individual's consent, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Greenland Self-Government, in accordance with the agreement/collective bargaining agreement in force at the time of entry into office between the Greenland Self-Government and the relevant negotiating party.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.
