Head of Activity and Employment at Bryggergården

Then you may be the occupational therapist with leadership focus and strategic responsibility that we are seeking for the Bryggergården Care Center.

About the position

As head of Activity and Occupation you will play a central role, combining high professionalism with leadership responsibility and strategic development. You are visible in the daily work as an occupational therapist and are responsible for both individual and group activities, targeted at our often younger citizens. At the same time you play a key role in the management of the activity team and, together with the director and the management team, set the direction for the overall effort at Bryggergården.

Your main tasks

• ensure a visible, rehabilitative and client-centered approach as an occupational therapist
• manage assessments, training and meaningful activities for residents – including a food club, chair gymnastics and individual offers
• lead and inspire the activity team, including the activity coordinator and activity staff
• responsibility for operations management: vacation planning, recruitment, personnel matters and performance development interviews
• set clear direction and framework for the team’s work and ensure follow-up on initiatives
• ensure coherence between activity, care and kitchen and collaborate across with other professional groups and civil society
• actively participate in the management team and contribute to the overall strategic development of Bryggergården
• contribute to a safe, inspiring and welfare-promoting working environment
• participate in projects, meetings and development work and ensure training and competence development of employees

We are looking for you who

• is a licensed/authorized occupational therapist
• has experience with – or ambitions for – leadership
• thinks rehabilitative and is passionate about creating development and quality of life for younger residents
• is visionary, proactive and clear in your communication
• thrives with both operations and development tasks and can plan and prioritise in a busy daily life
• is relationship-building and has strong collaboration skills

Employment terms

This is a permanent full-time position with start on 1 December 2026. Salary and employment terms are set according to qualifications and the applicable collective agreement between the municipality and the relevant professional organization. We will obtain references and a criminal record check for applicants who are considered for offers of employment.
