Then we have an exciting position as the head of Holbæk Shared Kitchen, Cleaning, Cafés and The Active Centres.

About us

Holbæk Shared Kitchen, Cleaning, Cafés and The Active Centres are organized in the core area Older People and Health in Holbæk Municipality.

We are a total of 48 dedicated employees distributed as 21 staff in the production kitchen, 25 house assistants and cleaning technicians, as well as 2 activity guides.

The production kitchen and the management office are located at the same site as Stenhusbakken Nursing Home in Holbæk Town. The production kitchen supplies, among other things, food to 5 care centres and nursing homes, six cafés, two residences, as well as other customers. The staff in the production kitchen participate in the collaboration on orders and production of different dietary forms.

House assistants and cleaning technicians carry out cleaning and tasks at the municipality's 5 care centres/nursing homes, the municipality's 6 cafés and 13 Active Centres.

The activity guides are bridges between Holbæk Municipality, civil society and volunteers, including close collaboration with user councils and The Active Centres.

About the position

As the leader you have the overall responsibility for the area. You will be the direct manager for staff and a team leader. You report to the area manager for care centres, day centres, temporary placements, shared kitchen, cleaning, cafés and active centres.

You as a leader will have many collaboration interfaces both across the Older and Health area and across core areas within the municipalities. In addition, you will, as a leader, collaborate with civil society, volunteers and external suppliers. As a leader you are responsible for translating the municipality's direction and strategies into concrete actions within the area.

Collaboration with the managers of the municipality's care centres and nursing homes is a large part of the leadership task, among other things to ensure quality and a common direction, especially with regard to meals, nutrition, food delivery and cleaning.

You are responsible for high professional standards, quality and competence development. At the same time you are responsible for following standards and applicable legislation for food hygiene, working environment, cleaning standards as well as political decisions.

About you

You are an engaged and inclusive leader who can take the lead and set the direction. You are present and a culture carrier for a good working environment. You create clear boundaries, prioritize visible leadership and use appreciative communication. You thrive in a complex leadership field that spans both production and service.

You should want to create development, quality and collaboration across the organization as well as with volunteers and user councils in the municipality. Emphasis is placed on having experience with financial management, leadership and a focus on competence development.

In addition we expect that

• You are trained as an economa, a professional bachelor in nutrition and health or have another relevant education
• You are currently undertaking or have completed a leadership education
• You have management experience and preferably experience in leading other managers
• You have relevant knowledge and experience within kitchen production, nutrition and health
• You have knowledge of cook-chill production in large kitchens, including food safety and quality in the final product

It is an advantage if you have experience with interdisciplinary communication to contribute to shared direction and understanding of optimal nutrition and the good meal experiences.

Additional information

The first interview will be held on 10 or 11 November and the second interview on 18 November.

Between the first and second interviews there will be a testing process with an HR consultant.

Starting date 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
