Then you may be our new colleague at Herlev Library.

We are seeking a staff member for Team Knowledge and Hospitality, who will take responsibility for the library's digital operations and development. You will have a central role in working with our library systems, website and digital resources, while also becoming an important part of daily service and hospitality at the library.

You will be part of a dedicated staff group of 22 colleagues, who every day work to develop the library as a living, relevant and welcoming place for all citizens in Herlev Municipality. Herlev Library consists of the main library with Local History Archive as well as a combined school and public library at Klausdalskolen.

About the position

You will take a key role in ensuring stable operation and further development of the library's digital solutions. You will be the link between library staff, external suppliers and the municipality's IT department, and you will have great influence on how we use digital solutions and data in everyday life. At the same time you will be part of the library's daily operations and included in the duty roster with day, evening and weekend shifts.

Your tasks

• Administer, maintain and be a superuser on the library's IT systems, including Cicero, lending machines and data integrations.
• Provide support to colleagues, work with troubleshooting and handle user and rights management.
• Drive and coordinate the implementation of new digital solutions.
• Maintain and further develop the library's website.
• Work with web statistics, user insights and data analysis.
• Participate in material care and discarding as well as dissemination of literature in both physical and digital spaces.

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant higher education as librarian, cand.scient.bibl. or another education combined with relevant experience from the library field.
• Have experience with system administration, IT operations and digital development.
• Know or are keen to learn to work with library systems such as Cicero and the digital resources of public libraries.
• Have an interest in data, statistics and user behavior.
• Are service-minded, helpful and good at building relations and taking responsibility for your tasks.

Working hours, salary and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week with a flexitime arrangement and is desired to be filled by 1 January 2027. You can expect to work 1-2 evenings per week as well as every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles.

Herlev Municipality has smoke-free working hours.
