Make a difference – and get a student job that offers more than just pay! We are seeking hourly substitutes to families in the Lystrup-Skødstrup area

Would you like to give a child with a mental functional impairment (ADHD/Autism) valuable moments for a few hours a week? Then you are the one we are looking for!

As an hourly substitute you become a significant adult for both the child and the family.

The role involves both presence and interaction – to play, go on small outings, play games, be active, be creative, etc. As an hourly substitute you are 1-1 with the child and therefore have the opportunity to focus on what the child wants.

We are looking for you who

• Are responsible, flexible, stable and accommodating
• Like to be active but also be a clear and boundary-setting adult
• Can commit to at least one year
• Can accommodate pre-teen behavior
• Have experience working with children and are patient in building relationships
• Are prepared for travel time and potential travel expenses, as the families live in the northern part of Aarhus municipality
• It is an advantage if you have experience being with children/young people with ADHD / autism.

Target group – purpose of hourly substitution

Hourly substitution for children is provided under the Child Act § 90 section 1, no. 2, cf. the Social Services Act § 84 section 1.

The purpose of hourly substitution is to relieve the parents of a child with reduced physical or mental functioning. The municipality offers hourly substitution when the need for relief has arisen solely due to the child’s disability and when the relief is done for the benefit of the rest of the family.

The child may, for example, have ADHD, autism, physical disabilities, genetic chromosomal abnormalities, etc.

Extent

The approvals are 3 hours per week / 13 hours per month. The hours can be combined so that there are more hours and fewer attendance days. This is agreed with the family.

Salary

You are employed as hourly paid with no minimum hourly time. Payment is made hour by hour.

• Normal hours: 145.97 Danish kroner/hour
• Weekday supplement after 5 pm: 31.55 kroner/hour
• Saturday allowance: 38.19 kroner/hour
• Weekend allowance: 70.33 kroner/hour
