We are looking for a teacher for Next Step, who will rebuild school joy, believe in their own abilities and create new opportunities for young people with school absence.

We are seeking a teacher in our special provision Next Step, who among other things can teach Danish, who is passionate about education and formation, who has a good overview, a strong relationship-building profile and a fantastic ability to differentiate instruction.

Next Step is for students with challenges primarily related to school attendance, and they may have anxiety, attachment disorders, self-esteem issues and general stress reactions.

Next Step is a holistic program with 8-10 students from 7th to 9th grade. We want our new colleague to have a strong interest in, professional experience with or training in special pedagogy.

Our goal will be to rebuild school joy and well-being among the students, develop mastery strategies and create a positive transition to the future.

• is professional in relation to teaching, parent collaboration and collegial cooperation

Lundtofte School is one of Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality's nine public schools, with about 500 lovely children, 70 skilled staff and an active School Board. The school is located close to green surroundings by the Dyrehaven and near the new light rail – easy, green and accessible.

The position is full-time with 26 teaching lessons per week.

Salary and employment terms are arranged in agreement with the union organization authorized to negotiate.
