About the job

Become part of Jammerbugt Municipality's new Health and Care Places in Brovst under Aalborg University Hospital

How do we create the best pathways for citizens with complex health and care needs? How do we ensure coherence between hospital, municipality and their own home? And how do we use nursing to create quality, safety and development?

These are some of the questions you will help answer.

We are seeking nurses who want to help develop the new Health and Care Places in Brovst under Aalborg University Hospital. Here you will not only have the opportunity to use your nursing professional competencies. You will also have the opportunity to shape the development of a new offering, where high professional standards, interdisciplinary collaboration and coherent citizen pathways are the foundation.

The Health and Care Places are to support citizens with complex health and care needs, who require observation, treatment, rehabilitation and close follow-up. Citizens are often in transition between hospital, municipality and their own home, and nursing plays a crucial role in creating coherence and direction in the pathway.

As a nurse you will become a key person in daily practice. You work with clinical assessments, observation, treatment, rehabilitation and coordination of complex pathways. You must be able to create overview, prioritise efforts and make independent professional decisions with the citizen at the center.

We work from Fundamentals of Care (FoC), where the relationship with the citizen, the fundamental needs and the professional quality are closely connected. We believe that the best nursing arises when professional knowledge, clinical judgment and interprofessional collaboration go hand in hand.

With us you become part of a strong professional community with nurses, social- and health care assistants, therapists and other partners. We place high priority on sparring, learning and development, and we see diversity in experiences and competencies as a strength.

We are seeking nurses who

  • thrive with complex citizen pathways and clinical nursing
  • work autonomously and take responsibility for professional decisions
  • have strong observation, assessment and coordination skills
  • see interprofessional collaboration as a natural part of the task
  • are eager to contribute to the development of new workflows and solutions
  • wish to make a noticeable difference for the citizens

With us you get

  • the opportunity to help shape a new offering from the start
  • a high degree of professional responsibility and independence
  • complex and meaningful citizen pathways
  • a strong interprofessional collaboration
  • an environment focused on professional reflection and development
  • the chance to influence quality, practice and workflows
  • engaged colleagues with ambitions on behalf of the citizens
