About the job

Center for Social Interventions in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality established four years ago a new offering – Expanded Possibilities for Action in the Home (UHH). 40 citizens have chosen to accept support here instead of living in a residential facility. UHH was anchored at the Acute Service (Akuttilbuddet) which since 2010 has been an offering of mental crisis help to all citizens in the municipality. At present we are in the process of taking over the homelessness area in the municipality and about a year ago we took over the outreach street-level work under SEL § 99.

There are now 25 employees employed to cover all the above functions and that means the time has come to appoint an operational manager who will report to the current manager of the services.

Across all areas we base our work on a dialogical and network-oriented perspective. This means that we work to understand the citizen's difficulties relationally and contextually. We work with dialogical network meetings inspired by Open Dialogue. Some colleagues have a two-year education in this and we are all involved in developing a dialogical practice. The core task in UHH is to collaborate with the citizen to achieve a good everyday life and to find their own path and their own means of action.

In the Acute Service, the core task is to support the citizen in being able to handle their acute psychological crisis.

Your tasks

  • Support the leader and staff in organizational development, including description of initiatives, development of interventions, professional basis and other practices in the unit
  • Support the professional development in the Acute Service and UHH and contribute to the implementation of professional methods.
  • Take care of planning of working hours for staff in the Acute Service to ensure there is sufficient coverage of staff to support the Acute Service's core task at all times.
  • Support the daily documentation practice and its development.
  • Investigate, map and disseminate knowledge about intervention development.
  • Especially identify and disseminate knowledge about Open Dialogue and how it can be brought to life in the services, among other things through contributing to holding dialogical network meetings.
  • Support staff in focusing on the target group as a whole to ensure breadth of the effort.
  • Support that new employees are introduced to the services, the professional approach and the professional methods.
  • Support and facilitate theme days, staff days, etc. in collaboration with the manager.
  • Plan and conduct training in e.g. dialogical practice.

Your background

We expect that you have extensive experience in the field and have completed what corresponds to the two-year training in Open Dialogue.

The application deadline is Oct 20 at 12:00 and interviews will take place on an ongoing basis.

In Lyngby-Taarbæk you will become part of a strong professional community with high ambitions in an organization with about 4,000 employees, all working toward the common goal – to create value for citizens and businesses. We place emphasis on good leadership, well-being, professional and personal development opportunities, creativity and innovation, and a balance between work and leisure. We view diversity as a resource and value that employees each contribute with their particular background, personality and abilities.
